What a year!

So it's been some time since I've written in our blog. Never a dull moment with a new baby in the house. Especially one who is starting to crawl!! I know I can't believe it. Shelby is officially on the move. Which means I may get to rest in about 20 years. (Right Nana?) She is the best baby ever. She's always in a good mood and now likes to wave bye bye. She is such a blessing in our lives. She is now 8 months and growing!! We're going in for a check up soon to get her official stats.

In other news, I got a promotion at work and am now a Sr. HR Assistant. New responsibilities keep me extremely busy at work, but I enjoy what I do. I'm starting to learn some new aspects of our department, which is fun but a little crazy. Could use a couple more arms.

Home is awesome. We only have a few more weeks left until our house is finished being built!! It's gone by so fast. I'm so excited to have our own home. Space for Shelby to crawl around more, and just a place that we can truly call our own. We've worked very hard to get to this point, and will be extremely glad when we get officially moved in.

Sundy I officially turned 24. I had the joy of having Daniel call me an old fart. I told Shane we were getting old. (He turns 28 on Friday) He said I don't know what you're talking about. I turn 26 this week! You keep telling yourself that. We are both trying to think of what we want as birthday presents. I got a really cool cake from Shelby, in the shape of a hamburger and fries. Mom and Dad gave me money, and Daniel got me a gift card for the half price book store, which I have to hide until we move because there is no room for more books! And my friend Jim got me one of those keychains that you can put pictures on. It's awesome. Now I really hope I don't lose my keys :). Donald got me the bestest present of all. A house!! That's my Mother's day, birthday, christmas present this year. Just like it's his Father's day, birthday, christmas present this year. But it is officially the best present ever.

I just wanted to say a SUPER HUGE thank you to my mother-in-love Kelly, (Donald's mom) she has been so awesome this summer watching Shelby to help us save some money from day care. Shelby loves going over to her house and playing with the dogs. She's been soooooo helpful with everything and loves bein a gramma! It makes me feel really good knowing that she is in hands I can trust. I'm gonna go crazy when she goes back to work when school starts! Anyways, I just wanted to say I love you and thank you so much for doing all that you do!

Well, that's all I have time for now! Back to my crazy world! I love you all and God bless!
