First day of Christmas...
On the first day of Christmas my Grama & Grandpa gave to me...a really cute elephant that play music, some cute socks, a beanie baby, Shrek the third, and parts one and two of the rosetta stones for german and spanish so I can learn with mommy and daddy! Grama had this really cool christmas tree that lights up and has a train that goes around it. It was awesome. It turned off though and I looked at Grama like "Why did it turn off? Can you fix it?" and the second it turned back on I was back watching the cool tree. Thanks Grama! I can't wait to wear my Christmas dress today and see everyone at Nana & Papa's house. Well it's time for a nap.

First Day back at work
Well I officially survived my first day back at work. 213 emails, 1 meeting, and 20 questions from about 50 people. I know, it was a slow day. :) I lasted until 11:30 before giving in to call the day care to hear them say she was doing great. Squeeked through the rest of the day and then cuddled with her for a whole hour after we got home. Babies are addicting. Donald's cousin Maggie was the one who was watching her in the nursery. She did great and was nice and quiet all day. We have such a good baby!!

Painting with mom
Shelby and I went to help mom out with a painting project for church yesterday and today. It turned out awesome! We discovered that I can't paint a pretty mean mountain and Mom can do some pretty crazy camels!! :) Today Kelly came and helped. It was a lot of fun and it looks fantastic. Will be great to see it up on stage.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

First Family Camping Trip
We had our first family camping trip this weekend! It was fun. Grandpa Bonesteel was up north elk hunting. So we went and joined him for the weekend. It was beautiful up there. The only animals that we saw were cows and the only thing that Grandpa shot while we were up there was a fox. So we got to miss most of the gross stuff. But here's to many more camping trips to come!

Getting bigger
Well hi all! Thought I'd give you all a little update. We are doing awesome. It's so much fun to be at home with the baby. She still sleeps a lot right now but she's starting to be more awake every day. She's very vocal. Dad and Mom are slowly learning what all her noises mean. We had our two week check up this week and she's gained a full pound! That's about it for any new news. We're having a great time. She's sleeping really well.
And now she's telling me its time to eat. Have a great day!

Doctors update
So we went to the doctors today. I'm dialated 3 cm. Though after stating that I would like to be done being pregnant now she decided to try and help me out. So it's a very good possibility that we will be having our little bundle of joy either tonight or tomorrow. Keep us in your prayers!
The Last Baby Shower!

Everyone decided that mom should add baby shower setup kits to the many things created by Cooks Creations. Briar Patch here we come Mom! I had a great time, thank you to everyone who helped and was a part of our party. I can't wait to use all of my fun stuff on Shelby.
And a special thanks to Kelly Crum for letting us use her home and helping Mom through all the crazyness.

Ultrasound
We are now on weekly doctors appointments now. Monday we went in and the doctor decided it would be good to see just about how big this baby is. : ) So I went in this morning for an ultrasound. The first thing the nurse doing it noticed was the full head of hair on our little one! So we will not be having a bald baby come out apparently. Too bad they can't tell what color it will be. They did a lot of scanning and measuring. Everything looks really great and healthy. They are estimating that right now she is about 6lbs 2-3 oz. Obviously they can't be 100% accurate but it's still nice to know around how big she will be. We have our last baby shower on Wednesday, so we've decided that Sunday would be a really good day to go into labor. Now whether that will happen or not, who knows. But we're available : ) Well that's all for now. Our next appointment is on Monday. So I'll keep you updated on how everything goes this weekend.
Thanks for the picture Mom!Wednesday, September 26, 2007
Doctors update!
So I went to the doctor's this morning to get a checkup and I'm currently 1 centimeter dilated. So Shelby will be coming a little sooner than expected. We had an awesome baby shower at Donald's mom's house on Saturday with soooo much cute stuff. It was a lot of fun. I'll give more updates when I can. but Shelby may be making an appearance at our last baby shower! Who knows. That's it for now. Happy Wednesday!

Countdown
Well I'm officially ready to be done. Arizona and it's lovely summers has about driven me batty. It's just plain hot outside. Add the internal heater and you get one hot unhappy pregnant lady. Last weekend was pretty good. Sunday we went to Church and saw Mom paint on stage. Then Mom, Dad, Dani and I went to the Diamondbacks game. I got tickets from work, and the seats were really nice. If I wasn't desperate for desert I would have gotten hit in the shoulder with a baseball. But since I had an ice cream craving the lady in the seat behind me got a very large bruise on her leg. God watches out for the pregnant ladies too : ) Monday being labor day we went out into the wonderful Arizona desert at the crack of dawn and went bird hunting, well I didn't shoot any birds obviously, but the guys did. Donald got 5, we're so proud in a yay for getting them, but its still sad you killed a bird, sort of way. I did however shoot my first shotgun and hit the waterbottle I was aiming at dead on. Go me. Then we picked up Dani and grabbed some lunch and went over to the Bass Pro Shops, they have a big fish tank and we got to see them eat. It was weird. Worms don't like water, just so you know. And then we had tasty brats over at Mom and Dad's house.
That about sums it up.
Tuesday I had my doctors appointment for a checkup. All is well in baby land, every thing sounds good and healthy. So I go back in 3 weeks to get checked out again and see how close we're getting. That about covers it up for last week, hopefully this weekend goes just as well.

Test results
I received a call from the doctors office today on the results of my test. My glucose test came out perfectly normal, so there is no concern of gestational diabetes. They also did a test for anemia and it came out saying I was slightly enemic. So now I have to take an iron pill ever day. So Donald will be keeping an eye on me to make sure I'm behaving myself. But it should help me not be as tired, which will be nice.
Blogs for the Bonesteel crew
While I'm not an "official" member of the Bonesteel clan as of yet. I'm still family so I figured it would be good to put all of Donald's and my updates on here as to not completely overload mom's : )
Things are going pretty good on the homefront right now. It's been a somewhat busy week so far. This past weekend was a little crazy.
Friday Donald drove up to Flagstaff to help his Dad get their friend Larry's truck and trailer out of the mud. They were up there camping and it downpoured. He got home around 4:30 am with a very muddy truck. While he was out there I went up to Pinnacle Peak Patio after finding out my best friend, Dani, moved back from Hawaii. We hung out and went and saw The Simpsons Movie, which I'm sure is a lot more funny to people who like that show. I just thought it was kinda goofy. S
Saturday we moved a desk into the bedroom so that we have less cords around the room and have a place to sit down and work on things if we need to. That night we hung out at the house with his Grandma, Aunt, Cousin, Daniel, a couple friends and Donald's brother Mykel and played dominos. It was pretty funny.
Sunday was the usual. We went to lunch at Mom and Dad's and had yummy chili. Fell asleep watching Nascar and then headed over to Donald's Mom's house to eat dinner.
Monday morning I had my doctors appointment to get my glucose test done. I only had to get stuck once for the blood test this time, so I only have one little bruise. Dani went with me since Donald had to work, so afterwards we went to the mall and grabbed some lunch and walked around a bit. After Donald got done with work we went to visit Tom at the hospital to see how he was doing. We took his mom out to dinner to get her out of their for a little bit.
Yesterday was pretty slow. We basically spent the evening at home. The plan for tonight is to go have a little picnic and see a movie.
Now you're caught up to date on this weeks happenings.
